The comic-strip is part of daily life in Walloon and Brussels, birth-place of many comic-strip heroes. Hergé, Peyo, Franquin and Morris are inextricably related to Tintin, the Smurfs, Guud Fleter and Lucky Luke. They are but four of the many famous Belgian illustrators. Throughout Brussels and Wallon exhibitions and events are being planned on a large scale. Aside from culture, nature, good cuisine and the burgundian atmosphere this provides yet another original and surprising reason for Dutch tourists to plan a holiday in Walloon or Brussels.Brochures on this theme are now available.
